Has anyone had a child grow out of having IS?

My son has infantile spasms. He is on Topamax and Kolopin right now. We were told that there is still a chance that he may grow out of this condition. Could that be true? Has anyone ever "beaten" the seizures? Hoping for a brighter tomorrow.

Hi My name is Anea..My son was diagnosed with IS at 9 weeks... They put him in ACTH but relapsed almost a month later..He also takes Ceppra...I have some questions if that would be ok with you...I'm on Facebook..Please reach out if possible..Thank you and God Bless...

Thank you so much for sharing your story! Our son has recently been diagnosed, and Googling this didn't prove to be helpful, quit the opposite got us scared even more. So I will always keep in mind your amazing story going forward. Thank you <3
