My son is 20 months old and has been on Keppra for 3 weeks now. He has shown some indication that his seizures are slowing down. However, he has been very agitated and tired! tired! tired! He is quite unpredictable right now in terms of his emotions. He'll laugh and then cry a second later. We have him on a B6 vitamin too which is supposed to counteract the side effects. We'll see if it helps. Poor kid has been through a lot and you can tell it's wearing him thin. But like I said he seems to be having less seizures and seems to be a little more "with it" the past few days. The seizures have caused developmental delays and he seems to be improving!!! So we are very hopeful. (Ask your doc about B6 if side effects to start to appear.) Good Luck, Lauren

My 9 month old son has been on Keppra for 1.5 months. He has become very aggressive and moody. He was diagnosed at 6 months and was having 40-50 Partials per day. He was given trileptal first, but he became hyponatremic and was switched to Keppra. On trileptal he was never completely controlled. He was seizure free until Sunday when he had 6. His dose was increased from 300 to 350 and no more seizures. We are happy with it.
