Kari,
You mentioned that your daughter quit eating on Keppra. My son started keppra about 2 months ago (at 9 months old) and I've noticed that he has stopped eating solids too. My neuro doesn't think it is related, but I'm positive it is. It has been two months and he went from eating 5 jars of baby food a day to only eating cheese. He also got the rage and dizziness. He still doesn't seem right to me. He was such a happy baby on pheno. His seizures were controled on the pheno and he hasn't had any on the keppra too.

My son started having seizures at eight months. He first started on Keppra and was VERY moody. Keppra also did not stop his complex partial seizures (1 every other day). We moved to trileptol which helped with the moody aspect and controlled the seizures to a point, but not completely. Carbatrol was next and that was the ticket for him and now his sister. He has been seizure free for almost two years and his behavior seems to be better. I guess every child is different, but Keppra did not work for us on the moody side and seizure control side. Please keep us posted on how things work out. Brad and Rachelle.
