The WADA test is a trip.  Your wide awake while your Sound asleep.  I remember some of the initial instructions and questions the doctor asked me.  but thats it.  my understanding is it is used to determine if you have enough memory available to make the surgery safe.  that is to say the dr. don't want you to be running around with no memory that ya owe himm ten bucks.  just teasing.

good luck.  been seizure free now since 2:00 pm  may 22,1981`  nomeds no doctors.

I know exactly what you are feeling.  I was 50 years old and diagnosed with Epilepsy and my first thought was Why me? What did i do to deserve this.  I still am very frustrated.  My license is gone probably for good. In my state i have to go 2 years without a seizure from the date of my last one before I can get it back  I have thought and thought about things that were happening while I was growing up and all indications show that I had epilepsy growing up.  Just don't give up. I know that it will not work for everyone but I made it through by joking about it. Knowing how serious of a situation it is joking about it was my way way of dealing with it.  Two of my adult children got frustrated with me when I joked about it but like i told them if i dont joke about it i will sit and cry which i do on occassion any way.   Like I said just dont give up.  All of us on this website are in the same position and are here to help each other.

President Teddy Roosevelt had seizures.

Seizures could be caused by fever, allergies, etc...

Your co-worker could have a seizure.

5% of the population will have a seizure...or two..and not have epilepsy.

 Remember Chief Justice Roberts,

or Neil Young?

I used to think my seizures were caused by epilepsy....and then I found out I was allergic to a common food additive-iodine. And now, I have complete control of my life, and don't have to worry about seizures.

I don't eat shell fish, or buy iodonized salt anymore, but sometimes restaraunts will add iodonized salt to the food, darn!

I did find out about environmental friendly transportation throughout the whole ordeal.

There are alternative reasons for seizures...

Don't go hating on your life quite yet.....
