I smoked the weed for about 10 years the last five of those I really was using heavy whilst at university as a mature student studying for my degree in photography. I sufer from both petit and grande mall and have done since I was 7years old I am now 49!
I found that when smoking I had a massive increase in petit mall or what is now called absence seisures -sometimes 5 or 6 within a 5 or so minuet period and once I went into a major grande mall attack and so I have to admit whilst the drug made me feel good it didnt help my fits at all though whilst high I created some of my best work ever! and won art student of the year!

I have tried both,alcohol and weed,sometimes combined(I know,not very smart)In the instances I would just smoke weed,it seemed like I was more relaxed and then decided to leave the alcohol alone(maybe one beer here and there)But if I am somewhere and there is weed available,I will take a few tokes and have never had a problem.It does help counteract the insomnia that some AEDs cause.So,I say,if it seems to help,more power to ya!
