Help with teen's symptoms?

Tue, 10/17/2017 - 00:25
My 16 year old granddaughter had a gran mal seizure two years ago and suffered some memory loss and continued strange sensations and temporary disconnects but the early EEG was normal. Now she is suffering nausea, paleness, auras (has always had) slowed thinking and stumbling. Saw neuro today. Ordered MRI and another EEG. Have any other parents noticed paleness and clamminess after a focal or partial seizure? Thank you!

Amy Jo says a lot and she

Amy Jo says a lot and she knows a lot. I had 20-25 different EEG's that all came back normal. It was the 26th EWEG that showed abnormalities. By knowing where they came from the neurologists then went to the MRI of the 1960's and a closer look showed scared brain tissue, Anything that is different on the MRI can be the cause of ones epilepsy. For me the cause is scared brain tissue in the left lobes of m brain. For others it can be a cell formation that didn't grow right. Or a tumor ANYTHING that is not normal like other peoples brains.Abnormalities are electrical impulses that hit wrong in the brain. That wrong hit causes a chain reaction which is the seizure.

I agree with Amy. Has she had

I agree with Amy. Has she had a sleep-deprived EEG or sleep study?
