Stacey,
My daughter is 6 1/2 years old. She has atypical absence seizures which are , to date, not gone. There are times when , if her bladder is full, she will wet herself during a seizure. Thank goodness this has not happened in school yet. I have explained all of this to her neurologist, and it is a normal part of what she is going thru.
You need to talk with your doc about this. As embarassing as it is, it is the only way you will get it resolved. Once you get some good seizure control, these episodes should be few and far between.
Good Luck to You,
Lynda ( Rachel's mom )

I understand what you're going through completely. I have wet the bed my entire life. When I was pregnant, I started having nocternal seizures which has made the bed wetting problem much worse. It takes me a couple of nights to get control back again after having a seizure. The best advice I can give you is talk to your doctor and accept yourself for who you are. We're all different and unique for a reason, we're human.
