Normal EEG, now what?

Tue, 05/30/2017 - 09:46
My 8 your own daughter had what is believed to be a seizure two weeks ago. She had a normal CT at the hospital. We were scheduled for an EEG two weeks after the episode this past Friday. I just received the results and they read that the EEG showed waves of youth but that it was not of concern & that the EEG was "basically normal." It was only a 20 minute EEG so I'm not totally comfortable with the results. I'm so frustrated that they did not perform the EEG the day of the episode. We meet with our family Dr to discuss the results but I'm not sure what our next step should be.

I just made another post. Feel free to check it out! I believe my daughter had another seizure yesterday. I requested that he send her for a sleep eeg & he declined saying the one they had done was sufficient.
