Deja Vu leading to sick feeling
Tue, 06/16/2015 - 22:02Hi, I'm a 22 year old female. For the past two months I've been having bad déjà vu episodes with a nauseous feeling. I can't concentrat on anything other than snapping back to reality. They last about 30 seconds. If I'm driving, I have to pull over. At first I thought they were memories but now I know they're not. Sometimes just looking at someone's face triggers it. Does anybody know what's wrong with me?
I am so glad I found this

I am so glad I found this thread!! I have had the “deja vu” since I was about 14 years old. It starts as like my brain is trying to remember something is why I’ve ALWAYS called it deja vu that makes me feel sick. I had no idea that other people have this feeling and I always have the HARDEST time trying to describe it to doctors and just other people in general. But every now and then I’ll google my symptoms in various ways of wording and today I came across this website and thread! But mine always starts with like a smell or something I look at that looks somewhat familiar and it’s like something goes wrong in my brain while I’m trying to remember. I get lightheaded and like this weird hazy feeling all over. Nauseated and like a kind of warm sensation down my throat. I can’t focus on anything else. They last about 30 seconds and after it’s over I still feel off for a few hours.
