drugs questions (mushrooms)

Its seems as though no one has started a disscussion on th positive and negative effects of marajuana(If any). As well as the bodys reaction to other drugs(mushrooms). Not to exclude anyone but if you have teperal lobe damage your info would be much apprieciated. In my own personal expereance I can say without a shodow of doubt that marajuana kept me seizure free for 3 years, however I Did have a seizure when I abrubtly quit after 3 years of daily or near daily usage. Now analyzing this info is simple enough, If you stop taking your seizure medication you will have one. Now this is where many conclusions can be drawn, and differences in individual resonses to drugs can be seen. Please feel free to post your info.                                                                                               If anyone has experiance with epilepsy and mushrooms  please post your info good or bad and it will be recieved with gratitude.

PS keep this disscussion as professional as possible

Although it is possible to test for the chemicals contained within magic mushrooms, standard drug tests do not test for these substances. An extended test may screen for magic mushrooms, but it is uncommon for these tests to be administered.

Hello all, I am new to this forum thing but I am seeking informed opinions regarding the use of majic mushrooms and epilepsy. I am 23 years old and I have suffered from juvenile myoclonic epilepsy since i was approximatly 5 yo. I suffer from both grand & petite mal sezures, though I only started having big seizures when I was 18. I am a habitual marijuana user and have never noticed any bad side affects. I tried mushrooms for the first time a couple of weeks ago and had a wonderful experience; calm, spiritual, and enlightening. No resultant seizures followed. I wish to endeavor another "magical" experience soon although I am concerned about pushing the envalope in this regard. My neurologists have very little info for me and we have been discussing the subject for years. nevertheless, I was wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of credible documentation on the matter, or would care to share their experience with me is your condition is even remotly similar to mine. Thanks for your contributions.

I read a lot of articles about mushroom and it's really hard for me to believe their uses to cure a particular depression but somehow, it makes me realized of one thing. And it's that, mushroom also has both negative and positive effects if someone intakes it. Magic mushrooms have long been favored by some drug users. Now, one analysis finds that the same mushrooms might have uses in psychotherapy. The study discovered that patients who were given a managed dose of psilocybin were more open about their feelings and self-reported better life satisfaction over one year later. Article resource: Controlled magic mushroom doses could have psychotherapeutic uses.
