Psychic seizures

Sun, 03/19/2017 - 23:46
Hello all. I'm a 20 year old college student. I had my first seizure (grand mal) at 17 years old, and haven't had a grand mal since thankfully. After several tests, I was diagnosed with celiac disease, but this is just my history. Back in December of 2016, I finally took the advice of the idiot father of my ex bf/friend, who is a psychiatrist, to lower my Lamictal dosage, which my neurologist agreed to, since I also suffer from chronic fatigue. A week and a half later, I had a complex partial seizure, and now I still can't drive until June. My problem is that I think I've been having psychic seizures all the while. I haven't lost consciousness other than those 2 times, but I have two different kinds of psychic seizures, of which only occur several times on the same day or two each month. One of them is when I have sudden panicky feelings that last for about 15-30 seconds, and the other I will hear the same phrase (I can never remember what it is) coming out of someone's mouth when they are speaking to me, and I cannot speak coherently or finds words. I might need another medication to surpress these relatively infrequent episodes, but I don't think they would cause much of a problem if I had one while driving. What I'm worried about is if my doctors disagree and postpone my clearance date to drive until they're completely gone. Any thoughts?

I will hear the same phrase (I can never remember what it is) coming out of someone's mouth when they are speaking to me, and I cannot speak coherently or finds words.Because epilepsy is caused by abnormal activity in brain cells, seizures can affect any process your brain coordinates. Seizure signs and symptoms may include: Temporary confusion. A staring spell. Uncontrollable jerking movements of the arms and legs. Loss of consciousness or awareness. Psychic symptoms.Look and research the different types of seizures and then use some common sense . A complex partial seizure and have some of the things you postedTalk to your neurologist and discuss your issue with him and ask about the dosage levels you are at now and seen what they say. Understand that driving is something you apply for and within the sate laws a person must go XX time without a seizure.
