Nursing School

I am currently looking into colleges. I want to be anurse though I am not sure exactly what specialty/setting I want. The colleges we all were talking to though, said you needed a car to drive to your clinicals. I cannot drive. I just had a really bad cluster last week so that puts getting my license off for at least six months.
What would you guys do? I am not at the clinical stage yet but it is something that should be considered going into school. WHat accomidations should I look for in a school?
Any advice is welcome!

Hey Emily!I had my first seizure when I was 17, and I started nursing school when an was 18! I've now been seizure free for 7 years, and I've been a nurse for 2 years. When I was in school, not everyone had cars so we carpooled together to clinical. Other options are going to a school with a good public transportation system. As Matthew74 said, Boston is the Mecca for great hospitals and a good nursing schools, and Boston has a good public transportation system. Hope this helps and good luck!
