Living Alone/College Classes

Wed, 12/10/2014 - 16:12

I started having grand mal seizures in September and have had 4 more since then. They happen usually every few weeks. I've had two of the seizures at school and had bad head injuries with both. They all have happened after 5 pm. I lived in an apartment before and drove about 10 minutes to get to school. I was told by teachers to take medical leave last semester, so I did and had a seizure that night. The next semester is going to be starting soon and I have to decide whether I want to keep my apartment for another year. I also am concerned because I cant drive so I have to get my grandfather to drive me places. My college is atleast 50 minutes away from my grandparents house so I would have to have hime drive me to the college every day. And he has his own stuff to do too so I feel bad about him having to do that.

I dont know whether to keep my apartment for the next year even though I have been told I shouldnt stay by myself and can't drive until atleast after april and probably later than that.

Is it a good idea to continue my classes even though I wont be living near the university and can't drive?

Does anyone else have memory problems? My seizures last a long  time-usually 10-12 minutes, but sometimes less. Maybe it's the length of the tonic-clonic seizures?
