Chemistry in College

Hey everyone,

I was diagnosed with seizures in May. This is my second year of college and i am taking chemistry. We are going to be doing a lot of labs so that means using chemicals. Is there a chance that something could happen while i am in lab with open chemicals like that? I know that just paint, nail polish, etc can cause a neurological inbalance so i am worried about the chemicals i will be dealing with.

I would recommend wearing a safety mask. You might want to wear one, whether epileptic or not. Paint fumes probably won't affect your epilepsy, but they may kill brain cells.  Epilepsy doesn't affect your previous abilities. You can count on it to affect your self esteem.
