Where to go from here ...

I'm a mother to a 23 yr old, he was a 6, 5 month premature baby. After the initial 3 ICU months, I thought the heartache was over, I was finally bringing home my baby and only child. Little did I know it was just starting. At first, very early age, he was diagnosed with hyperactivity, medicated with ritalin, at the age of 13, it was suspended, according to doctors no longer needed. Six month after he started having *absent moments* , after researching , I discovered it was some sort of epilepsy, soon after started the seizures. For the last 10 years, we have searched and gone through several doctors, from been told he can lead a perfect normal life as long as his seizures are controlled by him taking his medications . although the seizures were rare, they still happened, to being told, we should look for a home for him, like put him away, as he will never have or a be normal. I want to make one thing clear here, this is not about my pain, or our pain, including his fathers, this is a cry out for help, there has to be someone out there, who wants to help my son, so he can have a decent life ... Every exam he has made and I have lost count, show nothing, everything is perfect, yet as I type now, I can tell you that my son is currently in hospital after having a very bad seizure yesterday, falling and hurting himself badly, I found him on the floor covered in blood. yes, he has been stitched and more tests ... nothing found ... and so he continues. A bright young man of 23 who can't get a job because of his seizures, who is developing a negative psychological mental view of himself, because he can't be normal or love normal, because at the end of the day, no one can tell us what is wrong with him .... it seems no one cares
