VNS/Vitamin Regime for subclinical seizures/seizures
Fri, 12/05/2014 - 12:44Hi, my 7 year old has suffered with epilepsy since 5 months of age. She had brain surgery as a baby, things appeared to improve but with her last EEG a lot of subclinical activity showed up, 6 epileptic discharges per 10 seconds. She is currently on keppra and they want to start adding additional meds. The problem with that has always been behavior issues. So I am looking into different options like VNS or/and vitamin regime. I would love to hear sny positive or negative results parents have seen with vitamins, VNS or a combo of both.
