Hi, I didn't see your post until today and thought I'd write back. I have since learned that my daughter is having so many seizures a day (hundreds) that I don't even see. Her seizures seem exactly like absence and they have been categorized as general but also partial with rapid secondary generalization. She is on Zonegran now and seems to be able to handle it well although I don't really know how it's helping the seizures yet. We get an MRI on the 31st to look into the partial more. My daughter is a little dizzy and has some stomach aches but otherwise is doing well. The first medicine, Topamax she did very poorly on. She starts kindergarten this year too. I am sorry that you find yourself here too! Hang in there and I'm sure we will be talking again. How is your son doing? Susan
