Hey dave, glad to hear you have done well.I guess "recover" is different for everyone.Ive not had acomplex partial seizure in 11years.But because Im prone to seizures I have to take Topamax 200mg,ativan and lexapro and each year the state of Fla(where I live )sends papers for my dr to fill so I can hold on to my drivers license for another year. And acouple of years ago I had surrender my license for 6months because I was so stressed from my mother passing, that my dr made me surrender my license in fear of seizures. So true recovery for me I guess would be is to know that Im completely free and that monster could never stick its ugly head back up again.terrij

Hey Dave, thanks so much for the good wishes. I remain optimistic that at some point in time, my seizures will be controlled to a better degree. Stories like yours are such a huge inspiration to me, and I thank you for sharing. I'll keep in touch, and you do the same. Hope to see you in chat soon.
