Relationship troubles, self esteem, and epilepsy

Sun, 12/18/2011 - 21:07
Sometimes I wonder if it is just me or what? Maybe just bad luck. I have always had women troubles and alot of it seems to be around my seizures, as the seizures get a little worse, the women start sleeping around. Recently I had met a gap from work, she was married, and her son had epilepsy so we talked alot. She continuously told me that her marriage was falling apart and they hadnt slept togetther for a couple years Then there was a period of time that she never stopped by, only for sex or if she was upset. Deepdown I knew I was being uses by her and morally, I knew it was wrong, but I needed someone face to face to talk to. a few days ago she message me that she was pregnant by her husdand, which completely destroyed her background story over the past few years. I knew it was wrong, but she was the only one who understood and I cared for her too. The weird part is now, I am not mad, I just feel nothing, pretty much apathetic. Has any man come into a situation like this, you hae nowhere to go and noone to turn to so this happens? Granted it may be wrong but it was mu only chance at love

Hi there

If the Women, you date, can't accept that you have Ep and after you have had a seizure you are not going to be raging horny then they are not worth your time and you need to kick them to the curb. Simple as that.

Do you have a support group? Family or Friends that you can talk to about these situations so you dont feel so down and alone?

 Keep the Faith

Unfortunately, my family is not very understanding of much at all, in fact, I ended up spending christmas alone as nobody was willing to take an extra 30 mile trip, but that was not a big deal as I spent christmas at home with my father who lives with me, and my dogs which were alot of fun in the snow as they have to bound through it. As far as friends go, I am a member of a couple of organizations, one is a motorcycle club and the other is the Freemasons where I am secretary. It was best I was at home anyway as I had a bad seizure this morning and slept the whole day. As far as the women I have been seeing, I think that has been a combination of timing and low self esteem, because one thing I have noticed is that after seeking psychotherapy it was found that my depression was actually adult adhd with depression and anxiety. The past few days havent been too bad as I have just been keeping my mind on my home based business plan that I am working with voc rehab, case managemet, and with sba so that I can come up with the necessary funds. Along with this, just realizing it happens to others too, plus since I was with a married girl, she betray both of us her husband and I plus I lied to myself, and have come to realize the truth, that nothing good was going to come from it. This keeps me focused on the office and house organization and so voc rehab is paying for an organizer/housekeeper to help as my house went downhill. Getting back into all of that will help alot. When I have been either bored or irritated I usually clean the house or my office My thought is, right now I have enough to deal with I have no need for her. Anyways thanks for the opinions, I actually want to get the lodge involved with some form of help for epilepsy juld like we do for cancer. Anyways, I hope you all had a merry Christmas and thanks again
