New to epilepsy
Mon, 10/14/2019 - 19:47I just saw my neurologist for the first time. He told me that I was unconscious when the EMTs came and when I came to I was fighting them because I thought someone was after me. I told him I had pain like headaches all the time and dizziness, I asked if that was normal for this condition he said no. I don't believe that is correct. Am I wrong? he said it looks like I have a form of epilepsy. I currently take 100mg vimpat twice a day and that seems to be keeping me on my feet. but I still hurt.

Sorry that has happened to you. I had a constant migraine before I started having seizures. My Neurologist put me on Emgality. That has stopped my migraines but if I have a tonic-clonic seizure I get a headache afterwards for a few hours.I currently only take 50mg Lamictal.
