Fed Up!

Wed, 12/22/2004 - 14:14

I have reached the end of my rope. These seizures are wrecking my life. Doctors have no answers. I am afraid to leave my home on my own. I have been informed by the Dean at my college that the only way I may return for Spring semester is if I have an aide with me at all times. This stinks. At 37 I am too old for a baby sitter. Anyone else facing similar issues?

Belinda-

I refuse to give up hope in finding control for this in some form. I have been trying for a long time to sort this out. I was reminded yesterday by my mother about the "staring spells" I used to have when I was a teenager. I guess the problem has been around for a very long time.

I am looking for information about training a seizure alert dog. I have a dog, about 10 Months old that alerts to my seizures before they happen. I know that if I am aware that one is coming ativan has a good chance for stopping it. If I can Buster trained and certified then he will be a big help.
