Any Lamictal Users
Wed, 07/03/2019 - 16:08In 1978 I was put on Depekene, know known as Depakote ER. I have done great with a few break through seizures along the way. After falling on wet steps at work, hitting my head, my seizures have increased to the point my neurologist has added Lamictal. I am hoping to hear some positive feedback on this because I am so scared being back on this medication rollercoaster.
Is there anyone here on Lamictal with positive outcome of any type?
Thanks in advance for your info.

Hi I’ve been on lamictal for a little over ten years now and it has helped my seizures immensely. I’m not too fond of the side effects but the main thing is that the amount of seizures I have a day have gone down and have stabilized for a long time now. I hope it works for you too!

Hi 4gI've been on lamictal for over 14 years and it works for me. I slipped in the bathroom and banged my head a few months afterwards and some time later keppra was prescribed as an additional medication. I think the two drugs work satisfactorily together. All anti-convulsants have side effects, but the main thing is I haven't had a seizure in over 12 years. All the best
