Washing in This Weather? No!

Tue, 07/18/2006 - 07:42
For years I've noticed how my seizures (or even fear of them happening) go up in the summer months. But here in NYC, it's getting more like jungle weather. Today it's expected to reach 100F degrees, with a heat-humidity index of around 104F. Now that, for anybody with or without "E" is damned hot! So what do I decide to do? Well, with the day off, I head right for my apartment building's basement so I can grab the two washers. I'm just back from a long trip, and have little to wear. However, I always seem to forget how heat and humidity can bring on pretty rotten feelings in the neurological system of this guy! Oh well, after the stuff is done I'm going out for a breakfast treat. And no, not with coffee! Stay cool, my friends! --George R

I have to say, you know it's

I have to say, you know it's hot when the local Orlando, Fl news has a picture of The Avenue of The Americas with the caption "Another Scorcher". I'm trying to get the heat to stay down here, but all the thunderstorms we're having aren't helping...lol. Oh yeah, just in time for me to go to South Florida to visit my parents, a tropical storm is brewing near Antigua...great. We'll see what happens, I've seen enough hurricanes to last me for years and years to come. Susan
