Trouble in chat

Wed, 12/13/2006 - 23:13
All I have is one question? Why do they bother putting an admin in our chat room if they dont do anything? I tried private chatting the @admin on 2 different occasions tonight about 2 members S8TR and some tommy person causing trouble and calling other members offensive names. This is totally uncalled for!!!! We are here because we want to be and because for most of us.....we need to be. This isnt the first time I have wrote for help or tried private messaging the @admin and nothing seems to be getting done. When you do get answers they say well let us look into it and thats it. This is so uncalled for !!!! Ok i am done venting.

Please note that you can create more than one 'room' in the chat.. Click on the folder below the list of rooms, and make a new one. When you make a new one however, the room will go away when the person who made it leaves, or there's no one else in it.

Already, we have more than one permanent room there -

Corner Booth - should be for those who want to to talk about stuff in general, not necessarily epilepsy.... EpiTalk - for those who want to talk about epilepsy

Using the rooms for these purposes will help people spread out and everyone will get a chance to chat.. I hope members can help each other out by pointing out the other rooms when multiple conversations overlap...

Hope this helps!

I do appreciate all the comments made about this topic. However, I think we need to be careful about not becoming amateur policemen or censors. Most of us live with a condition that can make us thoroughly miserable and i think it's fun to have light hearted chats in the room. A bit of fun and laughter can imporove my mood no end! Let's continue to support each other but also lighten up a bit. ok, now i'm the most unpopular person in the room... i'll take the onslaught like the true Brit i am :)

Hey girl I don't use the chat myself because this computer has computability issues and right now I'm on the kid's computer to get here until they are fixed... Just wanted to say that you can't be blamed for what goes on the chat no matter if you are from a different country. Speaking of which... Bring your computer outside of the chat to update us all on how things are in your country health benefits wise. All in the interests of cultural diversity? For those that are using the chat... Maybe they could learn from this quote of Alvin Toffler .... The illiterate of the 21st century will not be those who cannot read and write, but those who cannot learn, unlearn, and relearn. Cat. "Many false prophets are gone out into the world." 1 John 4:1
