Riddle me this...........

Tue, 05/30/2006 - 13:38
A very poor man leaves the market and heads home to his family all excited because he made so much money. Before he left for home, he bought a chicken, a bag of chicken feed, and a dog. While on his way home, he came to the river. It had swelled up pretty high and the current had picked up as well. He has to cross it to get home. There are no bridges or ferry's. He knows he can only take on item across at a time. So, knowing, if left alone, the chicken will eat the feed, and the dog will eat the chicken, in what order did he get all three Items across? Here it goes: A puppy is one, but a dog is not. A kitten is one, but a cat is not. A cookie is one, but a cracker is not. What is it? *Laura

That's a fun one. I think it is a word with double letters. :) Am I right?

You are attending a party with some friends when one of them states that there is something in the room that everyone can touch with either of their hands, but you can only touch it with your left hand. What is it? -Spiz
