Just an idea.

Hi everyone, Anyone who has seen my blog will have seen the pics of my hometown and i have enjoyed sharing them with all of you. One of the threads on this page is 'where are you?' so how about some people posting photos of where they are or the beautiful things and places where they live on their blogs and just tell us why you love it where you are, as we seem to be spreading further to all parts of the globe I think it would be fascinating. So many of us are surrounded by natural and man made beauty without even realising it. These are some shots taken whilst walking the walls as they combine natural and man made beauty. Andy

Andy I enjoy your pictures so much. You know how sometimes to get through some tests and procedures you need to focus on a beautiful picture or memory? Well the ones you have posted of the wall are my new favorites and I will be using them in the future. What a peaceful, calming walk that would be. Thanx for sharing. Smiles!

Thank you very much Colina, It's one of the most under walked parts of the walk due to lack of safety fencing people are a bit wary of walking it, but the fact that they took the fencing out adds to their beauty. At that time of evening it is beautiful and it fits into 2 categories. It can be a gorgeous evening stroll or a very good workout. Personally I'll opt for the first. When i was younger i used to think of it as 'useless beauty' but now i see it for what it is and i realise how lucky I am, i am glad you liked them. I was walking along and i just thought i gotta share what I'm seeing right now. Andy
