What type of seizures is my wife having?
Sun, 02/09/2020 - 14:12About once every 3 weeks my wife has an episode. She says she feels funny, dizzy and tired. Her eye lids flicker, her hands cramp up. She is usually semi-coherent during the episodes. They usually last about 2-4 minutes. She can feel them coming on for 5-10 minutes before she has one. Does anybody else have these exact seizures?

It's important that she's following-up with her healthcare team to review this further and if she experiences any changes in symptoms, moods and behaviors to help determine what individual treatment plan is best for her. From the time period you gave of every 3 weeks I can say that being female it could have something to do with her menstrual cycle. Hormone levels can play a big part in seizures.

"Funny" is the exact word I used to describe my events when I first had them as a child. Then the experience was so hard to describe because it was so sudden and so much went on. But I was tired after I experienced the sour taste and the feeling like I had been in the same place before.
