Switching Times

I’m not sure what topic to put this under, but hopefully someone has experienced this besides me and can help. I take the generic Keppra and take 2 a day, 1000 mg. I take my medication at 11 in the afternoon and 11 at night. I recently started a new job working with children with autism and won’t have easy access to my medication. I was wondering if anyone has changed the normal times they take medicine to better fit new work or school schedule?

Done that many times. Depending on how long the time change is does help' But it might help if you do it on your days off. Your medication has a therapeutic level built up in your body which is there to keep break through seizures from happening if you take a dose late or forget one. So moving your times so it is easier to take them shouldn't be much of a problem. You might call your neurologists office and ask them if they have any suggestions. But That information was given to me when I had to change times to take meds.

Thanks for your input! I’m

Thanks for your input! I’m just wondering if I should change my times all together so instead of 11 o’clock maybe I’d change it to 8 in the morning and 8 at night. I have my yearly check up with my neurologist coming up so I can also just ask then.
