Living with epilepsy; your stories

Sat, 09/24/2016 - 23:15
Hi everyone! My name is Lauren, I am a twenty six year old female from the merry old land of Oz and am also a complete newbie to this forum! Therefore I am not sure if I am posting in the right section (I previously posted in the adults" area) but I thought I'd give it a shot. If I'm in an entirely wrong discussion section please let me know! I am currently in the middle of writing a novel regarding epilepsy, including the many seizure types, their implications on our lives and the stigma attached to it. As I used to suffer 40 partial seizures in a single day, I've got plenty of experience in the matter, but I would love to know others personal stories, because while we are all following a difficult path together, our individual stories are unique. I would therefore be very grateful if you could share your journey with me so I can spread the word and shed light on our "invisible illness" for the world to see. Thank you so very much!
