sensation that an extra person is in the room

Fri, 12/05/2014 - 15:40
Hi. I've had seizures (not grand mal just the type that make you confused)for years and while they are slowly changing in their presentition (for the worse, unfortunately) there's been a constant that I've always found piculiar and its helped me confirm seizure activity when otherwise it would have been hard to tell (the really tiny ones). The symptom is the sensation of an extra person in my presence. So if I am alone I feel like there's another person with me. If I am with two people I get the sensation of being with three, and so on. Anyone alse experience this? If so have you been told the area of the brain affected. My neurologist has been vague about the location of mine and I'm curious. Thanks!
