neuro

I plan on moving out of state to attend grad school soon. I have a great neuro here and I hate that I will be leaving him. What I was wondering though is can I still keep him as my neuro even though I won't be in the same state? When I see him all I do is tell him about how the medication is working. Why can't I just call him if I have a problem or schedule appointments with him when I come home for a visit? Does anyone else see a neuro that is not close to them?

Peaches, It is a good Idea if U find a New Neuro in the area U are going to. U need to keep up with seeing a Neuro and just have him Fax your other Neuro in the other State about how U are doing. That way he can keep your records up to date when U return, when U start seeing him again. I hoped I answer your Question a little for U. Keep in touch let me know how u are doing. anniemarie65@yahoo.com, I have had epilepsy since I was 10 yrs old Iam now 42. anniemarie

So what you are saying is I can still keep him, but see someone else while I am gone? How do I go about getting another neuro? Do I take my records with me or does my old one send my files to him? I've only had seizures for two years so this is all new to me.
