Help

I wonder if I'm having a seizure or not. I had seizures for about 15 years and then they stop. I've recently had one in my sleep because I woke up and couldn't move my arms and legs. When I relax I see visions and the visions come true. I've also been jerking too just one or two jerks in my arm or leg. I've also a rapid heartbeat, and sometimes I can't breathe when its hot outside. I don't have episodes. Please help me.

HI Ashley, Lots of health conditions can look like seizures or seizures can look like other health problems. A person who has had seizures before and starts having episodic events again is best to talk to their doctor to sort out the issues and see what type of testing may be needed. It's also a good idea to see a primary care doctor to check out general health - see if there are separate things going on or if related to seizures in some way...

Do you think these conditions could be cause from topamax.I had been on topamax for about seven years and it also made my white blood cells low.

If new symptoms occur after starting a drug, always report them to the doctor so they can look at possible relationship to medicine. No way to know for sure without talking to someone who knows your medical history and can examine you.
