schizo
Sun, 10/15/2006 - 19:55i read in john's hompkins medical book that shizophrenia is triggered by epilepsy,and i have both,i just wish if i got off my epilepsy medication maybe the schizoprhenia would stop.just trying to be hopeful.i already got off of one pill but,im still taking 4 tegretols and four kolopins.i no there's no cure for schizoprenia,but it seems like if i got off my epilepsy medication i wouldn't have anymore epilepsy and then i wouldn't be paranoid schizo anymore.i need to talk to my doctor about my medication.

Unfortunately, that test decided I am schizophrenic, when I know for certain what determined that answer were, in fact, things that are seizure symptoms for me.

Girly, I'm just curious, what type of epilepsy do you have?

Has your doctor diagnosed you with both? Perhaps it would be beneficial to ask your doctor or psychiatrist if the two could be related or even if the two could be the same thing.
