I'm trying to find info about this for my sister as well. I can't seem to find anything. Each siezure she has now is destroying more and more of her memory structure, meds are getting less and less effective. I see you posted in July. Have you found any more info?

I have been on the diet as an adult. And yes it is alot of work. Especially when you have to fight with a child about it and eating all the food. It is a very good diet. But many people are starting out with just trying the atkins diet and see how it works for them first. I try to do a partial keto/atkins and I believe it helps. Here is the support group http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/atkins4seizures/?yguid=46307811 If you need more info about the ketogenic diet, let me know. I have more info in my epilepsy approach group. take care Lisa http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/epilepsyapproach/
