Carnitor is also known as L-carnitine. It is an amino acid that is needed to deliver essential fatty acids to cells and it is also required to make protein. But you can have a deficiency in L-carnitine. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi?cmd=Retrieve&db=PubMed&list_uids=8347126&dopt=Citation take care Lisa http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/epilepsyapproach/
