As unpleasant as this obviously is, it is not uncommon to lose bladder control during a grand mal seizure. I had a grand mal 2 nights ago and it happened to me, not for the first time unfortunately I might add. I am 41 years old. It doesn't mean that things are getting worse. You do learn to live with it, although it is very embarassing. Hopefully, with your son being so young, the embarassment won't be so bad. Hang in there, my heart goes out to you - try not to worry too much - I know that's hard for a Mom! Helen
