effects on education and employment

i was just wondering if it was possible that anyone successful took part in the au paire program for america with their medical condition. Coz im currently doing my hsc and really want to apply but i dont think i may be discriminated against due to my illness which is understandable but id like to know whether or not anyone else had achieved this. lol.i also wondered if any one had an intellectual downfall after they were diagnosed. My marks have dropped dramatically and i wondered if it was the simple fact that im not trying hard enough or if it was possible that it had something to do with my illness. I only wonder this because the doctor that i went to see for a while said that it would effect me in not allowing me to perform as best as i normally could... has anyone else experienced this?

Yes academic performance can be effected by E and or the AED's. It's not fair, but concentration and memory are effected and both of these things are needed to be successful in an academic setting.
