I had a wonderful pregnancy, healthy baby, and nursed her all on Lamictal and Keppra.  My doctor specializes in women with epilepsy and we discussed the safety of nursing while on Lamictal-that was 9 years ago.  From what I understand now and back then, Lamictal was and is considered safe to nurse on.  I was on prenatal vitamins and increased doses of folic acid for three months prior to coming off birth control.  I believe if you follow all recommendations, your baby will most likely be fine.  Good luck :)
