Very sleepy even though I get rest.

I've been on ny meds for epilepsy. Keppra. It's december and I started it in August. I've been very sleepy even though I have been getting lots of sleep. I tried taking Vitamin b6 to help with energy. Cause during the day I just get sleepy. I am 15. So I'm in my classes about to fall asleep because I have no energy to stay awake. I don't know what else to do. I've tried taking naps when I get home. And it just hasn't helped. I'm having troubles in my classes because I can't get any sleep. Does anyone have any tips?

Hi Ashlyn, Honestly, I don't know lot's of details about any of the damn things. I do know changing medicines early-  with my beginning seizures did make a difference for me.  Your doctor will certainly be the one to decide. Don't be afraid to share details of seizures with your doctor.  I wish I would have began keeping a journal early on.  I would have liked keeping some details incl; circumstances around a seizure, my feeling- emotion before and after etc. Even something fun like an often full moon being close to my monthly seizure could be interesting.  Do exercise to fight the dang thing back. Take care, Jeffery
