RNS implant

I had the RNS implant over a year ago and have been seizure free.  This week I even got my drivers license back!!!..I had left temporal lobe surgery Eight years ago and my seizures came back after one year on the right side.  Surgery was not an option because this is where my speech and memory are located..When the RNS came up I asked the Dr.s about it right away.. Of course we had to try different meds first , even marijuana but none really made a big difference..The RNS is great...I was in and out very quick...I do my own brain scan every night and send it on a lap top right to the Dr...It all takes only 3 minutes to do..It's very simple..I am so excited...these seizures came out of nowhere into my life..I had no idea they were even happening..It was friends and family that saw them...The day I drove off the road and into the woods was the day everyone demnded I go to a DR> and realized it wasn't that I just wasn't paying attention...People freaked out when they heard the work Epilepsy, (so did I}..But luckily, everyone has learned a lot and accepted all of it..
