NEED INFO PLEASE !!!!

I have a very very long story about my daughter Jennifer so I don't know if it can all fit but I'll try to short form our situation. 27 years old my daughter is and suffers from staring spells , absent , grandmal and drop seizures , now she takes meds but seem to not really work all the time and at times seizure free for weeks none that I can see anyways cause bedtime I wouldn't know. The last handful of years she laughs for a few seconds and then comes out of it and when she has a grandmal she tends to cry fight and kick and it's not a pretty sight. Been through many doctors been dismissed as they couldn't find anything so the last 3 years or 2 we have found another specialist for epilepsy in toronto a Dr Andrade. She got tests done and found that there is brain damage on both sides of her brain, smooth areas and one vein under her brain now doctors in past times didn't find this and there's grey matter as well. What I need to try and find out and there's much more to this story is could there have been a much different thing going on inside her brain from childhood of which was never found and then progressed more into adulthood ? Cause I am starting to believe there is a much different form of brain damage going on and wasn't treated properly when she was 4 and nothing wasn't found and it just progressed, laughing seizures or aggressive I read about HH on here it fits perfect to our story , any advice would be great and now I have to await for her doctor to return from wherever she went. NEED help and some advice although I know quite a bit. Could there be a wrong diagnosis and were not seeing it and should I try to find someone who can help us now instead of awaiting till after July? I mean we have a doctor but now I'm more worried cause 3 types of meds are not working and I only take one type and I also have epilepsy and now I don't even know if my daughter has this or HH.

Over a period of time

Over a period of time seizures can change. At first I had petite mal seizures (absence seizures) I then had weird feelings in my hand (Focal seizures), It was after I had a grand mal that tests were done and my diagnosis was Grand Mal, Petite mal and Focal Motor Epilepsy. Thru the years I stopped having the grand mal seizures. I also stopped having the petite mal seizures. Those focal seizures could generalize and become like a grand mal but without the loss of consciousness. Today all I have are focal seizures that affect my right hand (weird or numb feeling) for a few seconds.Research post ictal state and you might find some of your issues in it regarding what happens after a seizure.I have been seizure free for periods of time. Anywhere from 3 months to a few years. I also know with the right doctors 3 different medications can work. I was on 3 for close to 30 years. As for waiting for her doctor. All of my doctors have Nurse practitioner and they do know a lot. They can also answer questions you have for your neurologist. I know. Back in the early 80's I called Dr Stewart  and if he was busy I got the NP who just retired after being my specialist for just over 15 years. You take ONE medication. She is taking 3. I have taken up to 4. Currently I take 2. Remember each persons seizures are different and their types of seizures are also different. A medication that works of one person may not work for the next. Which is probably why there are over 60 different seizure medications out there.
