Am I having some kind of seizures?

Tue, 09/11/2018 - 07:55
Hi there, I've just joined this site and thought I could use some help. Basically when I was 12 i had my first seizure. I had another one a week later. My parents then took me to my doctor and I was diagnosed with epilepsy. I take Lamogine and Epilem everyday. Those ones are under control. About 4 years ago I started having these little spells. They sort of start off with me getting deja-vu, then sort of turns weird and I sort of know Im having what I think is a small seizure. Then it sort goes into more deja-vu, and at the same time, I start to feel nauseas, can't control my movements and start dribbling. I then come back to reality but feel very weird for a short period of time. Can anyone tell me if this is a seizure or something else? I am a perfectly healthy 20 year old guy and have no other health problems. My neurologist just tells me to increase my meds whenever I have one.

Those could be partial

Those could be partial seizures. increasing your meds just after a seizure does not raise the therapeutic levels in your body. So discuss how your meds need to be increased to stop the partial seizures rather then just getting meds after the partial seizure. If you haven't raised the dosage of your meds in some time and you have changes in weight or structure then your body might have gotten used to it and the dosage may need to be raised.
