Does anyone know of a group in my area I can attend? I'm in central California near the coast. I'm looking for a group that meets once a month or so with people who have partial seizures.Karen

I don't know OF a group since I reside in South-Central AZ. But, I DO KNOW how you can find one, because that is how I found the one for my state.Go to www.efa.org, and I know they ahve a page or section that you can llok up the one for your state, or however many they have in CA.Then you call them up and ask for the location of the nearest group to you. They will be able to give you that info.If that is too confusing, then go to "answer place" at the same site efa.org, and ask them what you want to know, and in a couple of weeks they will send you the info through the mail.Instuctions for "Answer Place"The page has a spot for the age of the person with epilepsy (put your age in that space), then you want to check general information, and then write down your question or questions to them in the big box, and click submit. You are done.Good luck. Let me know if you were able to get what you wanted. Doing it the first way, is shorter and won't take 2 weeks to get something.Nancy

I found one group that I think is near you.I may not have it toally correct, but I think it is called Epilepsy Foundation of San Francisco and Central California. There is also one in Northern California, don't know the city, and there is one for LA, Orange, Ventura, and San Bernadinao counties combined, and lastly one for San Diego County.Nancy
