Taking dilatin and pregnant

I am 9 weeks pregnant I will like to know if it is safe if I start back to take Dilantin during my pregnancy? Will it affect my baby?

My Neurologist had switched

My Neurologist had switched me to Tegretol because the side effects wouldnt be as great for the baby. But I am sure your neurologist will do whats best for you and your baby. Good Luck!

Has your neurologist been monitoring this for you? I would't do anything without consulting him/her.
