Exposure to Valproic Acid during pregnancy

Sun, 03/03/2019 - 20:27
Hi, I am a mum of an almost 6 year old boy. He was exposed to Valproic acid (800mg) during my pregnancy. He has been showing some behavioural issues for the past three years such as being extremely disobedient, hitting others, getting extremely upset for very small things. He was tested for autism but results were negative .. I am wondering if there are other mums out there who are or have experienced something similar with their kids if having been exposed to epilim or depakote during gestation. Many thanks, Ester
