Any Computer Techies Who Could Help a Student Figure Out Which Computer to Buy?

Thu, 07/15/2010 - 16:46

Hi Everybody,

I am a lifelong epileptic who has returned to school, again.  I am using a 10-year-old desktop computer with old programs, monitor, and memory that is not able to keep up with my studies.  I am hoping someone who knows computers well could give me the specifics on what I should buy after I give him or her the specifics on my situation and needs.

I ride my bike to school, don't have much income, but really need to update.  I could discuss this at a store, but would really like a non-sale explanation to start with.  I am looking around online.  In addition, I thought someone with epilepsy might know what the best options are.

Ok, back to homework.  Enjoy your day : )

Thank you,

bizarredreams
