One half of brain bigger than the other?

Hey, wasn't quite sure where to put this.

I'm a 19 y.o with grand mal tonic-clonic seizures, and after a trip to my neurologist, learned that the right half of my brain was larger than the left, and considerably so. An MRI confirmed it, and I was wondering-would this have caused or affected my seizures? o.O Was going to ask my neuro, but forgot, and my next appt is like three months away.

Hi Azari. My brain is in exactly the same shape as yours. I asked my Neuro about it and assured me that having a large right side of the brain did not cause or affect my siezures in any way. Hope this puts your mind at ease.

Hi, My recent new born baby was found to have right brain bigger than the left and was told to have 'Unilateral megalencephaly in right side'. I wonder if it has any complications or effects on her growth or brain developments.

Hi Kelly. Love to know how

Hi Kelly. Love to know how your son is now. We just found out our infant daughter's left brain is larger than right. She had a partial seizure this week and taking keppra as well. Love to know real story and we can understand what might be ahead. Feel free to reach me through facebook :)
