Nocturnal seizures- the other side of epilepsy

Mon, 07/18/2005 - 09:30

Hi there,

I am new to the site, and mark008, you certainly had me laughing there! Have had nocturnal seizures for over almost two years now. The feeling in the morning is unbelieveble. I usually dislocate my shoulders aswell, and have had a screw place in the left shoulder. However, mine increases at menstrual time, I can count on it that I will be going live with the BEE GEES, having night  fever, night fever! Thats just my way of dealing with it, and it helps.

I have a question to any and all of us with E, do you experience any other emotions with your auras, pre or post seizures? And so many of the worlds greatest thinkers and artists have had epilepsy, so where are your individual connections to the greater spirit. I have found that my intuition has increased and my life has an entirely different focus. For the most part I keep cool, except that time of the month...I go BEZERK! and then have to spend a few days afterward, making amends for the emotional trauma I have caused...Oh God! But then it also helps keep the relationships in my life real, painful but authentic.

Now I seriuosly gotta consider my weight. Dont want to be too sore in the morning, now I need to loose weight. Essentially what I am saying is, yes it aint easy living with it, it aint easy being so, or watching the ones you love suffer through a seizure. But you can turn some of the bad into good. And I do believe that us as epileptics are missing some crucial information in terms of what we can achieve with these overactive brainwaves!!!!!!!!!!! How do you guys feel?
