Monitoring

Tue, 10/24/2017 - 13:37
Hello! I am brand new here and looking for some information on monitoring my son while he is asleep. My 6 year old son had a general tonic clinic seizure this past Christmas in his sleep and just had another Saturday night half an hour after he fell asleep. Luckily I was laying next to him and noticed it was happening. He is also on the spectrum. The doctor did not prescribe medication yet. It was optional and we decided to continue to monitor him. The problem with this is that I am not sleeping at night because I am so worried it will go undetected. I am hoping someone has some suggestions or experience with this? Help!
