I'm new at this, just turned 30, thought i had good health

2-2006 if it wasn't for me walking infront of parents I wouldn't have known. 30/m from Baltimore,MD they called 911, doctor said i had a brain blockage, put me in surgery, had me on dilantin-spelling off- was at work in a retail store in the warehouse, takin meds as i should had another seizure, i fell hit the steel shelves and busted my front jaw and lost my front teeth. they changed meds to Kepra, been working well, 2 1/2 months thought i was doing great. I had a passenger in my car as i was driving whom pretty much saved my life. different doc. says oh your not allowed to drive for 90 days. ok, car payment, jet ski payment, living expences, and not allowed to drive to work. the best part is, they don't know why i'm having them, and i already did surgery and paying $150 every 2 weeks for kepra doesn't help either.I'm only 30, never had health problems, now i'm not allowed to drive, docs don't know whats wrong, i have enough C.A.T.s to cover a wall.I'm like now what do I do??? Hi Mike. A fellow 76er, huh? Yeah, my health was good until this year too. I have not had your misfortune as my "episodes", if they are seizures, are simple partial. However, I have a laundry list of neuro symptoms dating back to last year or longer. I was diagnosed with arthritis when I was twenty-three, but turns out that may not be right. Now I am pursueing multiple sclerosis. Do you have any other issues right now, or is it [just] the seizures? Might be something worth looking into. Men aren't as high-risk as women, but they do get it. I've found that short of fever and a short duration of progressive illness (or a tumor) few other things can explain neurological symptoms cropping up other than autoimmune diseases attacking the brain. I have had an MRI of my brain that was normal, yet here I am with progressively worsening "episodes" (can't call them seizures yet, I guess). Feel free to read my blog, maybe that will help you. Sam
